Title Performing arts scene in German-language area and Europe in terms of artistic director, SÜDPOL

Max-Phillip Aschenbrenner gave his view on the need for creating new performing arts, as facing severe cuts to a public sector under the economic reform in Europe, and then, he discussed about the future of performing arts with the participants from a global point of view.

■Profile
Max-Phillip Aschenbrenner
Born 9 October, 1981 in Germany

Max-Philip is from Lower Bavaria Deggendorf and completed his studies in media, process design and dramaturgy. After working on his own internet and TV projects, he joined the publicity department at the Opera Zurich and collaborated in the research project “Denken hilft” (Thinking helps) of the ZHdK. He was a member of the artistic directors´ team at Theater Neumarkt and was an artistic collaborator at the festival “Theater der Welt 2010”. In 2011, he became an artistic director of SÜDPOL(Switzerland).
