Program Outline
With the aim of exploring the significance and role of artist-in-residence programs in the performing arts, this project investigates the actual situation, trends, and issues in the production and management of artist-in-residence programs related to the performing arts. The survey also covered the activities of artist-in-residence programs that accept artists in the fields of theater, dance, and performance as well as art and music, and investigated their programs, support contents, and methods, and issues. Based on the results of the survey, we held study sessions to discuss the significance and role of artist-in-residence programs and their future possibilities.
