Title | An overview of the current dance scene in Ireland within the wider European context |
Elisabetta Bisaro gave a presentation on the contemporary dance scene in Ireland and on the role of dance centers, the relationship between artists and arts organizations, international programs in Europe and other areas.

Elisabetta Bisaro
Born in Italy
Elisabetta Bisaro started a professional career as a coordinator managing festivals and dance companies in Italy. In 2003, she moved to Ireland and worked as a company manager at Irish Modern Dance Theare. Since 2006, she has worked as a program manager at Dance Ireland and her recent projects has included Modul-dance, a multi-annual cooperation projects between 22 European dance houses and media institutions from 15 countries, and Emotional Bodies & Cities, a mobility and artistic exchange dance program involving artists and managers from six European countries – Romania, Cyprus, Ireland, Latvia, the United Kingdom and Turkey.
